Introduction of Azar Amirsalam

Mrs. A. Amirsalam holds a bachelor degree in Administrative Management and worked for several years as a representative of the Minister for Labour and Education in Iran.

Soon after arriving in Canada, Mrs. Amirsalam started her career as an Immigration Counselor. She completed several College programs in Immigration Law and Procedures for certification, and updates her knowledge on a regular basis through seminars and workshops.

With over 15 years of immigration experience Mrs. Amirsalam has gained extensive expertise in Refugee, Family, Skilled worker and Temporary Visa Categories. She is the author of numerous Immigration articles for Canada based and international Iranian newspapers, the columnist in Immigration matters for the newspaper Shahrvand, and used to be immigration specialist at the radio station "Persian Voice" counseling on Immigration related problems and announcing Immigration news. On a regular basis Mrs. Amirsalam is also a guest at Iranian TV stations giving interviews on Immigration matters, providing information and answering viewer questions, at times together with her husband Gerd Damitz, president of AMIRSALAM & DAMITZ.

Mrs. Amirsalam is a registered member with the regulatory body CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Counsel) and with Canada’s largest Immigration Consultant Association CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants ) and is committed to their ethical guidelines.
